Wow! From the moment we arrived, the front desk lady's warm welcome set the tone for a fantastic stay. the updated Holiday Inn Express & Suites-Effingham truly exceeded our expectations. The breakfast spread was a highlight - hot, fresh, and delicious, with a wonderful variety that made every morning a delight. the 1-minute pancake maker was a fun and convenient addition that we couldn't get enough of! Our room was spacious and well-equipped, offering a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. the amenities, including the sauna, hot tub, and pool, were well-maintained and added to our relaxation during the stay. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the dining area where we enjoyed our meals served hot, to the thoughtful in-room features like the power window shades and full-size Dove soap dispensers. the accessible room we stayed in was not only spacious but also offered great convenience.
